ABOUT THE FAIR

From 8 to 10 May 2026, the 28th edition of the ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH art fair will transform the event hall Puls 5 in Zurich into a meeting place for contemporary art from all over the world. This renowned event presents an impressive array of contemporary art, offering an inspiring dialogue between artists, galleries, and art enthusiasts.

With around 50 exhibitors from across the globe, the fair will showcase works spanning various art genres, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, and installations. The artistic positions are as diverse as the countries of origin. ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH 2026 embodies an open, global art scene, creating connections across continents. Many projects explore topics such as cultural identity, sustainability, urban life and intercultural dialogue. The fair provides a platform for encounters, new perspectives and creative inspiration.

ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH is an international platform with local roots. Since its foundation in 1999, it has played a unique role in the global, and particularly the Swiss, art market. As a platform with an international focus and strong local roots, it fosters intercultural connections between artists, galleries, and the Swiss public. The fair provides international exhibitors with access to the Swiss market, while simultaneously opening up valuable international contacts for local participants.
As a global financial and art centre, Zurich offers access to a wealthy and art-interested audience, creating ideal conditions for sustainable networking. The fair appeals not only to established collectors, but also to a broad and diverse audience.

ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH celebrates diversity and openness. A wide range of artistic forms will be on display, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital art and installations. Well-established artists will be on an equal footing with newcomers, creating an exciting dialogue between generations, styles and cultures. Direct dialogue between exhibitors and visitors fosters a personal atmosphere and enables authentic art experiences.
As a primary market fair, ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH provides a sales platform and a springboard for careers. It thus makes an important economic contribution to the promotion of young and independent artists and acts as a catalyst for new trends in the art world. Within Switzerland, the fair fulfils an integrative function by bringing together participants from all regions of the country. It also provides a platform for smaller galleries and independent art projects. In this way, it enriches the cultural spectrum and strengthens the art scene in the long term.
ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH presents itself as a high-quality yet accessible alternative with an international reputation in the art fair market. Rather than focusing on speculative, high-priced objects, the fair prioritises personal art mediation, authenticity, and cultural openness. It thus places direct contact between art, artists and the public at the centre.

In this context, ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH makes a significant contribution to international networking, the promotion of young artists and the revitalisation of the Swiss art market, with a clear focus on diversity, dialogue and accessibility.
